Back in time the portuguese navigators left their country looking for the new world. we captured a little bit of Portuguese spirit and in our home you can enjoy about 53 portuguese drinks from fresh wines ("vinho verde") to liqueury wines like Porto and Madeira or brandy – Aguardente- , but you could stay for a delicious snake (tapas) that goes well with it. You could nicely accompany your glasses of fresh and sparkiling "rose" or the dry wines from Alentejo to some mediteraneean frugal dish. The goat cheese, the delicate tomato, fig or pumkin jams, the olives and the traditional portuguese sausages like "salpicão" and "chouriço" will convince you to give up the copious meal and enjoy here your afternoon or evening in a relaxing atmosphere, enhaced by fado and the contemporary portuguese music on the background. You will recognize the traditional fado or Mariza's contemporary interpretations of this music , portuguese jazz and blues interpretations of Tito Paris and more. But surpises don't stop here: starting from March 2011, Gala Wine Bar will invite you to fado live shows!
The attention for details and the inspiration of the Lusitan lands is to be recognized not only in the specialities on the menue or the music in the background, but also in the interior design, in the simple but refined pieces of decorations and photo .... ,,Lisbon pictures,,.
